We are a Best Account & Finance Recruitment Agency in Mumbai, and one of our clients is looking for Deputy CFO Job in Mumbai who are strategic & operational matters relating to project appraisals, risk management, financing, accounting & controls, Taxation, budget management, annual and strategic planning and forecasting, MIS and operational controls. He would also be responsible for the implementation and management of adequate enterprise level systems for the group’s businesses.
Key Responsibilities of Deputy CFO Job in Mumbai
- Financial Strategy & Analysis
- Drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Lead KPI monitoring and management reporting for strategic business decisions
- Conduct financial risk assessments and ensure robust mitigation frameworks
- SOPs & Operational Controls
- Establish and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for finance operations
- Ensure alignment of systems and processes with business goals and industry best practices
- Monitor internal controls and compliance with financial regulations
- Foreign Exchange Management
- Oversee and manage Forex transactions, hedging strategies, and currency risk mitigation
- Monitor currency fluctuations and ensure cost-effective procurement and payment structures
- Coordinate with banks and financial institutions for trade finance and currency management
- Business Planning
- Support strategic operations through financial modeling and due diligence
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate business expansions, cost structures, and capital investments
- Taxation & Compliance
- Ensure strict compliance with statutory laws and financial regulations
- Oversee tax planning, filing, and dispute resolutions
- ERP & Systems Implementation
- Lead implementation and optimization of ERP systems for Finance, Accounts, and Tax
- Drive data accuracy, process automation, and enterprise-level reporting capabilities
Job Qualification of Deputy CFO Job in Mumbai
- Education – Must be CA
- Salary – 40 to 50 LPA
- 15+ years of progressive experience in financial leadership roles
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities
- Leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, and taxation
